The best of local music, song, dance, drama, storytelling and film featuring performances by members from The Widows Association, Active Retirement, K.D.Y.S., local music/dance schools, Sonny Egan, Batt O’Keeffe, Frances Kennedy and local film-makers.
Art Exhibition, ‘A Horse For My Kingdom’ by Equine Artist, Tony O’Connor: Coming from six generations of blacksmiths, the horse and the beauty of his majestic form and spirit is the basis of Tony’s work. The exhibition will be opened by Mayor of Kerry, Tim Buckley.

To mark its 10th Anniversary, the Seanchaí – Kerry Literary & Cultural Centre celebrates the life and work of one of North Kerry’s most respected playwrights in a weekend programme of exhibitions, film, workshops, lectures and dramatic readings. Events taking place on Culture Night include:
6.30p.m. Launch of Exhibition on the works of George Fitzmaurice.
7.00p.m. Dramatic Readings from George Fitzmaurice plays ‘The Country Dressmaker’ and ‘The Magic Glasses’. Performed by Abbeyfeale Drama Group.
7.30p.m. Lecture by Fiona Brennan, author of the biography ‘George Fitzmaurice – Wild in His Own Way’.
8.30p.m. Tours of the Kerry Writers’ Museum at the Seanchaí Centre, which includes the George Fitzmaurice Room.
