Master Crafters on Kerry Craft Trails – Mini Coach Tour to Castlegregory co-ordinated by Original Kerry:
In association with the Kerry Flyer, the Kerry Craft Trails Tour will take in furniture making and stone carving at the Goose Island Workshop in Castlegregory – hands on craft making fun, tea, scones and chat under the fairy lights of the Goose Island Garden. Master Crafters Gary Marcham (Furniture Maker) and John O’Connor (Master Stone Carver) will guide the proceedings.

Siamsa Tíre, Tralee Town Park:
Now is your opportunity to meet one of three artists making work in county Kerry. Join us at Siamsa for free tea and coffee and an opportunity to talk to artists who will be resident in Siamsa Tíre from 8.00p.m. to 11.00p.m. on Culture Night. There is a unique opportunity to visit the Siamsa Gallery but also see artists making their work and discussing their arts practice in situ.

The North Kerry Artist Group will launch their first Tralee show. The artist’s will give a talk on ‘The Artist’s Experience; What Art Means to Us’, followed by a Q & A session. Kerry County Museum, Denny St., Tralee:
Kerry County Museum will be offering a special programme of events for Culture Night, this includes a late night viewing of the special exhibition Kerry Lives, all other displays and a performance by the Sliabh Mish Branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann – an evening of traditional Irish Music, Song and Dance. After listening to a few tunes why not use the evening to explore some of the treasures on display in the treasures on display in the Museum Gallery? From the Ballylongford Brooch to Viking grave goods and Roger Casements camera – there is something for everyone to discover. Follow Pangur Ban’s Family Trail to trace St. Brendan’s route across the North Atlantic, play Viking chess or dress up as Tom Crean. If you always wanted to be an archaeologist why not have a go at a “Bone Investigator” workshop? This will take place in the new exhibition about the archaeology of medieval Tralee. Finally, travel back in time in our Medieval Experience to stroll through the streets of Tralee in the year 1450 – complete with the sounds and (rather nasty!) smells.

Kerry School of Music, Old Custom House, High St., Tralee:
The doors of Kerry School of Music are flung open to formally launch the school's 30th Anniversary with recitals, rehearsals and open workshops by many of the school's 1,000 Students and 35 Teachers. Kerry Chamber Orchestra and Choir, KSM Strings and Things, KSM Wind Band, KSM String Orchestra and this year's prize-winners including Student of the Year, 15-year-old, Doireann O' Carroll (Pianist) perform in every available space in the building.
